everyday people doing life together

Our Core Values

Biblical Teaching

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God. We know that life change occurs when His word is taught/modeled in a small group, corporate, and communal setting. As believers allow the scriptures to renew their minds, they begin to encourage one another, minister to one another and do ministry together. Therefore, we unapologetically preach/teach God's word in a small group and corporate setting, committing time and resources toward both (2 Timothy 3:16; Matthew 4:4; Hebrews 4:12; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1).

Intentional Prayer

We believe in prayer because God commands us to pray. It was modeled for us by Christ and the New Testament church. The motive behind our prayer is to discern God’s will, overcome barriers, gather workers for the work of ministry, gain strength, and to encourage others. Therefore, we are committed to making prayer a priority as we go about Kingdom work (Philippians 4:6-7; Matthew 17:14-21; Luke 10:2; Matthew 26:41; Ephesians 6:18-19).

Families Transformed

We are a multigenerational church who believes the family is the primary influencer in the spiritual development of any individual. We also believe that the health of the family affects our present congregation, our community, and future generations. Therefore, we are committed to investing time and resources that strengthen the families of our church and our community, encouraging them to operate from a Christian Worldview (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Deuteronomy 6:20-25; Ephesians 5:22-33; Ephesians 6:1-4).

Missional Impact

We believe God loves people and desires His church to be an integral part of the ministry of reconciliation. We believe there is a command to share the gospel globally. However, we know that the first place for us to demonstrate this is in our “own backyard.” Therefore, we are committed to investing time and resources on the local, regional, and international level. We hope to reach everyday people by serving them and sharing Christ with them (Matthew 22:37-40; Matthew 5:16; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:13-15).

Sacrifical Service

We believe God created man in His image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore, every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love. This love is best exemplified in the sacrificial service modeled by Christ. Therefore, we are committed to creating and seizing opportunities to serve everyday people in a manner which reflects this love (Genesis 1:26-30; 2 Corinthians 5:15; 1 Peter 4:10; Acts 20:35; Matthew 20:37-40).

We affiliate with Southern Baptist Convention. As for our beliefs, we hold to the Baptist Faith and Message.
